2nd ANNUAL SUMMER FLOUNDER TOURNAMENT
2008 FLOUNDER TOURNAMENT RULES AND REGULATIONS
1. LOCATION: Headquarters and weigh-in will be at Cedar Creek Bait and Tackle
2. DATES: 6:00am June 01, 2008 – 6:00pm September 22, 2008
No lines in the water before 6am for duration of Tournament
3. ALL anglers MUST acknowledge receipt of Tournament Rules and Regulations
4. TOURNAMENT FLAG: Tournament Flag will be displayed by registered
angler at all times while competing in Tournament. Flags will be at Cedar
Creek Bait and Tackle and may be picked up beginning May 01, 2008
5. SPECIES: Flounder only
6. WEIGH-IN: Weigh-in times will be from 6:00am to 6:00pm DAILY. All fish are to be weighed in on the day caught, no exceptions. In the event of a tie, the first fish weighed in will win. Tournament Flag and receipt must accompany
weigh- ins. All weigh- ins will be at Cedar Creek Bait and Tackle
7. TERRITORIAL LIMITS: All fish must be caught in the Delaware Bay or its tributaries
8. PRIZES: Each angler may only win ONE prize. Positively NO transferring fish between anglers and/or boats. THIS TOURNAMENT IS BASED ON AN HONOR SYSTEM, WE ARE RESPECTABLE FISHERMAN
9. RESPONSIBILITY: Each angler fishes at their own risk, assuming all responsibility for safety and abiding to Tournament Rules and Regulations.
Anglers are responsible for complying with all State and Federal laws
regarding size and the number of flounder caught
10. DECISIONS: All decisions are final. Any protests are to be reported to Tournament Headquarters and must be made the day of the alleged incident.
Only fish caught on hook and line, rod and reel are accepted. No assistance at the rod or line shall be permitted except for holding the leader while the fish
is being netted, gaffed, or boated. All fish can be gutted at the discretion of weigh master after being weighed in. ALL DECISIONS OF WEIGH MASTER ARE FINAL
